As I mention frequently, I visit The Online Photographer at least once a day. Today the blog features a photo essay from Peter Turnley with recent photo’s from Haiti. In this 30 second attention span world, Peter is maintaining focus on what will be a very long recovery.
I was pleased to see that my comment was featured on the post. It’s nearly impossible for us to experience what it must be like to be there even through the work of gifted photo journalists. The other senses are simply not engaged, but thankfully so. The visual is enough.
